Single-family heat pump HVAC incentives have run $1,000-$1,500 (market rate) and $3,500-$4,000 (equity rate), with heat pump water heaters up to $5,700 at equity rates - BUT the program is NOT accepting new reservations: Central/Southern California fully reserved January 2026, Northern California February 2026. Waitlists are active.

TECH Clean California has been the state’s flagship heat-pump incentive - and as of early 2026 it is fully reserved in every region, waitlist only.
